Manager - Production Supervision

The Manager, Production Supervision is responsible for the smooth integration and collaboration of the Host Broadcaster during the planning and delivery of the overall Host Broadcast plan during event time.

In addition, the Manager, Production Supervision is responsible for the supervision and management of all requests coming into the TV News Crew and assets to be delivered by the TV News Crew prior to event time.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Report directly to the Director/Producer of TV News Crew (a team within the Media Operations Department), manage communication and logistics of video filming/editing requests that come to the TV News Crew whether from internal departments, external departments or external entities;

- Meet face to face with various internal/external stakeholders to receive their instructions, deliver feedback and manage delivery of requested content;

- Write reports and updates for each project to share with the Director of Media Operations and initiate and Supervise the Expo 2020 Dubai procurement process through to completion for processes related to the TV News Crew;

- Liaise closely with the film crew – especially the editor(s) and production manager - to ensure seamless preparation and supervision of video production logistics and liaise closely with the Media Asset Management team to ensure that all produced content is up to date on the Media Asset Management system and to ensure that the status of each request is communicated regularly;

- Provide feedback into the pre-production process for projects to ensure the scale and deliverable are aligned with the requestor;

- During event time, the Production Supervisor will report to and assist the Head of Broadcast and Senior Manager in ensuring and managing the delivery of the Host Broadcast contract;

- Manage the planning of Host Broadcast facilities and services including staffing rosters and liaise with Host Broadcaster on deliverable including reporting, milestones, venue planning and service levels from the beginning of the contract;

- Guide Host Broadcaster on unilateral broadcaster requirements, ensuring sufficient capacity, help manage filming requests from accredited Broadcasters and help manage Host Broadcast rate card bookings in relation to contract terms.

المهارات
6+ years of experience within the same field, as well as:

- A Bachelor’s degree within the relevant field;

- Proven experience of working with major broadcast operations at mega events;

- Experience in client management, TV production and production management;

- Ability to manage, schedule and co-ordinate large numbers of production personnel;

- Experience in assisting in the planning and delivery of Host Broadcast operations including the workings of an International Broadcast (Media) Centre;

- Experience of liaising with broadcasters and knowledge of broadcast requirements at high profile events;

- Experience of working in and with large organizing committees;

- Cultural intelligence and sensitivity, risk management, occupational health and safety and practice sustainability.
