ABB’s Electrification business offers a wide-ranging portfolio of products, digital solutions and services, from substation to socket, enabling safe, smart and sustainable electrification.
Offerings encompass digital and connected innovations for low- and medium-voltage, including EV infrastructure, solar inverters, modular substations, distribution automation, power protection, wiring accessories, switchgear, enclosures, cabling, sensing and control.
You will be working as a Sales Specialist and will be a part of the Electrification Business for Global Markets business line based in Dubai.
In this role you will be responsible for sales of products or systems within a designated market in accordance with strategy.
Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
Identify and develop sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Selling products or systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned business lines or product groups.
Selling the complete EL Business LV products portfolio like panel & enclosure systems, ACBs, MCCB, contactors, relays, motor management systems, MCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, enclosures, automatic transfer switches, capacitor banks, etc. to small, medium or large scale buildings, commercial, infrastructure, industries projects in Dubai &
Northern Emirates region.
Working closely with all the stake holders such as end clients, Main or MEP consultants,
Interior Designers, MEP contractors, Panel Builders etc. to generate demand as well as convert it to measurable orders in line with the targets assigned for the year, specific projects or panel builder channel and various segments for Dubai & NE
region.
Solid technical knowledge of LV switchgear products & assemblies, related international as well as local standards, application knowledge of these products, emerging trends in Digitalization and IOT initiatives related to LV Switchgear industries.
Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product or systems or services offering and aligning to provide a solution.
Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Leveraging and maintaining existing working relationships with all the stakeholders as well as related utilities in Dubai and NE region like DEWA, SEWA, FEWA and taking initiative to build new customer base.
Proven track record of relationships with MEP contractors in Dubai & NE is a major plus.
Preparing sales plans using company tools.
Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans in case of
potential order shortfalls.
Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques such as value-based selling.
Thorough understanding of channel management concept and executing related strategies at matured sales level.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
Taking initiatives in driving the marketing campaigns, promotional activities as and when required and actively liaising with the product marketing team.
Identifying and driving the development of new market, segment, customer profile related opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes as per company policy, legal guidelines and supporting collection and project management activities when needed.
Timely reporting to the management on all aspects of business.
Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and the product marketing specialist or Manager.
Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions as well as internal ABB legal guidelines.

المهارات
A bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics.
Minimum 5 to 7 yrs. of dedicated sales experience in UAE specifically in Dubai & Northern Emirates region mainly with MEP contractors.
Sound technical knowledge on products or systems and an ability to drive day to day business with minimum supervision will added advantage
