The Head of eCommerce will be responsible for developing and carrying out the strategic online marketing plans for Imdad B2C Division. He/she will be generally in charge of overseeing and managing Imdad’s ecommerce activities and online presence (website, web application, social and digital platforms). He/she will also be responsible for research and development of new online marketing strategies, and for hiring and training the rest of the eCommerce marketing team.
The head of eCommerce will play a crucial role in identifying online marketing opportunities, and directly make improvements that will shape strategy, build our eCommerce customer base, improve customer’s experience and driving online sales.
Job Responsiblites:
I. Value Proposition
Identifying and testing the services that represent the core digital platform value as well as setting the finest strategies for pricing, promotions, volume discounts, rewards points and payment methods while meeting the needs of different consumer segments.
Analyzing market trends of the services provided by the direct service providers (clinics) and competitors to recognize the compelling elements of Imdad’s eCommerce platform and differentiate it from those provided by the clinics and competitors
Securing a shopping environment that matches the needs of target market by evaluating and exploring other elements impacting the buying decisions and ensuring their alignment with design, content and the look and feel of the website and respective digital platforms.
II. Market Strategy
Develop strategies to make recommendations for best investment tactics for each product line. Providing support for strategy development and sales performances.
Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the Digital Marketing strategy.
III. Customer Acquisition & Retention
A key aspect to this role will be customer acquisition, through the use of in-depth knowledge of paid media and social platforms, implement a tested strategy across their channels either in house or with agency support.
Keeping abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world. Research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys
Leveraging existing customer base by introducing solid customer retention strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
IV. Revenue Model
Identify new areas of eCommerce and Digital Marketing opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase online sales and profitability.
Provide expertise on current eCommerce and Digital Marketing industry best practices.
Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure eCommerce and Digital Marketing principles are incorporated.
V. Project management
Liaise directly with upper management and present plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve Imdad’s online presence and e-sales.
Collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of eCommerce and Digital Marketing including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies
Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the eCommerce Division for cross functional partners and acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce and Digital Marketing initiatives.
Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce and Digital projects.
VI. Resources Optimization
Build, direct and train a cohesive team to effectively develop eCommerce & Digital Marketing solutions
Identifying the systems and technologies to be used across the digital landscape (e.g., marketing automation, analytics, customer data platform (CDP), session stitching, etc. while using the right tools to optimize the customer experience and drive online sales.
Advising on the financial planning and budgeting plan and optimizing the use of the budget set by the management through the proper planning for the e-marketing expenditures and develop a financial plan that will maximize their resources.
VII. Website Management
a. Website Design
Responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. Liaise with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed.
Updating the website for new mobile or computer systems to appeal to current and future customers.
b.User experience
Identifying and using the right tools to optimize customer experience and drive revenue.
Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing.
C.Content Design and Management
Overseeing the website content design and development, optimizing the website to create a world-class online shopping experience.
Driving online sales and be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the website including customer experience and websites functionality.
Ensuring new and engaging content is added regularly (Blogs, Q&As;)
Researches and updates best keyword matches
Ensure that online campaigns to be updated with appealing consumer images and text.
Enhance the look and feel of sites and the search and display ads regularly.
VIII. Digital & Social Media Platform Management
Lead management, qualification, scoring and nurturing experience.
Email automation experience with implementing best practices in email format, content, design and sending
Abreast of all digital marketing channels such as email, Ad campaigns, WhatsApp, chat, etc.
Innovate and present new marketing platforms and initiatives.
Develop engaging online content including forums, videos, images, graphics, testimonials and blogs; monitor and analyze content success
Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant analytics and reporting services.
Manage and monitor all company websites with weekly updates and monthly reports
Sets conversion metrics and KPIs and continuously enhances them in accordance with company goals and objectives.
Full grasp of online campaign set-up and management with Google Adwords including search, display and remarketing.
Knowledge of advanced CMS systems such as Sitecore is an advantage.
Develop and implement SEO and pay-per-click (PPC) strategies.
Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presences
Monitor and manage social media performance and maintains KPI performance.
IX. Service Provider (Clinics) Management
Introducing and promoting Imdad’s eCommerce platform to the service providers (clinics), seeking their partnership and Performing consultative method of sales by identifying or creating the need for Imdad digital Platform
Design and develop clinics’ affiliates marketing programs. Introducing a cohesive life cycle of the Service Provider partnership from onboarding to contract’s renewal.
Regularly meets with clinics to understand latest market trends, consumer demands and customer marketing requirements for consumers.
Reach out to doctors in order to capture consumer testimonials so they can be used in the digital marketing activities
Plan and executes Consumer automation programs to promote treatments.
Plan and conducts all consumer research and surveys needed to develop marketing campaigns.
Work with the B2B Marketing team on new product launches, obtain and provide all necessary information for internal and external communication.
Suggests and engages in forums and other online venues to promote imdad treatments and convert consumers
X. Performance and ROI measurement
Setting and monitoring the e-business KPI’s and conversion strategy.
Evaluating campaigns performance through accurate calculation of ROI and taking the necessary steps in tracking all direct, indirect and assisted sales and conversions as well as identifying the difference between the value of sales and the cost.
Adopting a highly commercially driven eCommerce techniques that focus on achieving sales targets and increasing ROI with a great creative eye and user experience knowledge.
Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce platforms and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
Provide analytic reports of online sales through demonstration of outstanding analytical skills, strong experience in interpreting test results and drawing conclusions.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Information Technology with Digital Marketing Certification.
Minimum 10 - 12 years’ experience in online consumer marketing, preferable from beauty and cosmetics, or aesthetics medicine industries.
Detailed understanding of digital and in particular performance marketing.
Track record of B2C e-commerce success in a fast-paced retail environment.
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing.
Operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis.
Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce usability.
Proficient with Microsoft office Applications.
Strong head for numbers, able to pull and manipulate data from multiple sources to provide valuable insight.
High level of proficiency and hands on experience in the following: Google Analytics, AdWords, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, MicroStrategy.
Effective management of external agencies is essential, experience reviewing these and running tenders would be desirable.
Confidence to successfully manage and influence multiple stakeholder relationships
Experience managing and developing teams to their full potential, with a naturally collaborative approach.
Ability to balance customer and commercials, with results driven mindset
Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
