Assistant Manager - Mission Human Flight

The role of the Assistant Manager is to undergo intensive and fundamental steps throughout the Mission Human Flight programme in preparation of earning the title of UAE’s first ever Jetman.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

- Day to day work on ground control, helicopter scheduling and all emergency response training including emergency first responder training certification;

- Learn basic fundamentals of the Jet man wing and parachute systems including operational pre-flights and preparation and general fault finding;

- Complete pre-flight requirements including PPL license, skydiving/base jumping and other physical and medical trainings throughout the programme;

- Prepare a detailed log pertaining to technical issues and complete the standard flight documentation as required;

- Liaise directly with internal stakeholders or external suppliers where required;

- Show flexibility and a strong ability to deliver high quality work under pressure and to firm deadlines;

- Have a keen eye on aviation news regarding human flight;

- Have the ability to work autonomously when required;

- Communicate changes in an order process to all parties involved;

- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and internal processes;

- Any other tasks prioritized by the line manager and assigned, as required by needs and working practices.

المهارات
6+ years’ experience in a similar role:

- A Bachelors Degree within a relevant field;

- Minimum of 5,000 skydive jumps;

- Strong interpersonal skills;

- Strong communication skills (oral and written);

- Ability to work independently with only directional input from line managers;

- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a larger goal.
