IT Business Analyst: Full Digital Transformation. Due to a recent acquisition by a Global Giant my client is embarking on a number of new initiatives as such they are looking to redefine and completely digitize their Accounting and Finance functions. You should have experience of leading high value projects and acting within a project lead/ Business Analyst function. We are looking for someone with experience as a Business Analyst who is coming from a Functional background, as such previous experience as an Accountant (Managerial or Financial) and knowledge on any of the following; treasury, reports, payables (AP), receivables (AR), fixed assets (FA), general ledger (GA), cash management, cost control, P&L;or audits would be an advantage. The project will take 3 years and you will liaise across the business, your main stakeholders will be at the CxO level. The company operates within an Agile (Scrum) environment however experience with Agile BA skills such as Backlog creation, Backlog grooming, Story sizing, Sprint planning, Daily stand-up Sprint reviews and Retrospective sessions in the above projects. You will be focused on Business process improvement, requirements, elicitation (e.g. interviews, workshops), requirements management and business modelling. As the lead BA you will create Business requirements and prepared detailed BRDs, Use-case scenarios, Functional and Technical specification documents and prepare detailed Requirement and Technical specifications and user stories for product development. • Business Analysis certification, i.e. Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Scrum Master would be an advantage. This role is one of the leading digital transformation projects in the GCC region.

• Prior experience using Scrum and JIRA as tools to execute each module.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis
• Ability to formulate Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
• Ability to document data management principles e.g. Data Dictionary, Data Types, Rules and Logic.
• Define Data / Information Architecture and /or flow
• Experience coordinating information requirements from across multiple systems
• Experience of requirements capture tools e.g. Jira, TFS, Rally, DOORS etc.
• Ability to lead and facilitate business requirements and data analysis and modelling sessions
• Has worked on Accounting related projects
• Create Business requirements and prepared detailed BRDs, Use-case scenarios, Functional and Technical specification documents.
• Prepared detailed Requirement and Technical specifications and user stories for product development.
• Ability to data transformation logic for extracting diverse types of data like flat files, XML data, Excel format data, Data from URL stream from various systems.
• Ability to elicit detailed requirements from functional, business and technical teams
• Effective communication skills, technical and business writing skills
• Ability to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels
