Site Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
Assist the Resident Engineer in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project.
Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
Builds a trusted relationship with the management team and with the client’s counterpart staff.
Establishes an appropriate working relationship with the contractors.
Places an emphasis on safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. Leads by example in driving safe practices on site.
Assists the Resident Engineer in monitoring progress of construction against the programme, and takes steps to ensure the programme is achieved.
Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the supervision works and monitors it for improvement.
Cooperates with audits required in accordance with the contract requirements and the company’s internal systems.
المهارات
Key requirements for the role:

Previous experience as a Site Engineer.
Minimum 7 year’s post graduate experience in the design, site supervision and construction management.
Have a BSc in Civil Engineering from an internationally recognized and accredited university.
Understand the aspects of site supervision and construction management of infrastructure projects.
Be enthusiastic about improving the safety performance of site operations in UAE.
Be able to communicate effectively with site teams and motivate them to meet the project objectives.
