Watch appraiser

The job of a watch appraiser is a meticulous process that involves scrutinizing and examining the watches, researching about the item being evaluated and finally making an appraisal report. Appraisers examine works of art and the contents of estates to determine their value and authenticity. This job requires detailed knowledge of the subjects and an understanding of current market values and trends.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Displays and sells watches.
Advises customer on quality, cuts, or value of watches.
Informs customer of various grades of watch movements type of servicing offered by manufacturer.
Performs other duties as described under Salesperson.
May estimate cost of watch repair.
May suggest designs for custom watches.
May advise customers on quality, grades, and patterns.
