The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will manage a team and ensure compliance with financial regulations and local customs and tax laws. You will also be working closely with the GM and Brand Management in revising brand servicing strategies and maximizing profitability. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Developing strategies for minimizing financial risk to the company. This includes research and analysis of financial reports and market trends, review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc and present them to senior management.
Communicating with departmental heads and brand managers on profitability related matters and providing insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Communicating along with the GM, to the investors of the company on MIS reports, statutory reports and future and current financial planning and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
Budget planning and analysis; projection of reports on future as well as current projects and track the company\’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to work with a fast growing retail business in the MENA region. As the ideal candidate, you must meet the following requirements:
Have 7-10 years\’ relevant experience, experience in the retail/consumer industry is an advantage.
Experience at a management level with the ability to work independently is required
Experience of automated business systems including payroll and accounting software
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial team members is essential
