Material Planning Controller

• Ensures that forecasting & planning of Materials are managed in a manner that meets the set goals and objectives
• Prevents shortage of raw materials that will affect production schedule.
• Conducts monthly inventory meetings together with the Warehouse, Purchase, Planning and Production, to take approval for ordered quantities and ensure the need by date requirement.
• Ensures that the value or orders are justified and within the budget
• Checks the quantities made in the purchase requisitions and follows up with Purchasing Buyer to ensure that purchase orders are released without affecting the lead time.
• Follows up to receive information of Ordered Raw Material and expedite if necessary.
• Create the new item code / Modify the Item code
• Create the Purchase Requisition as per system calculation.
• Implement the Filing of documents as per ISO Standards
• Merges the on hand, ordered and consumption values to come up with required orders
• Coordinates with Production Engineering/Planning for any non-standard raw material requirements
• Works to increase the Raw Material Inventory Turnover Ratio towards the target set by the Management
