Job Purpose: Operating the Zip line and assisting the guests on and off the Zip line in accordance with the health and safety regulations and Standard operating procedures.
Job Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Zipline SOP.
Deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
Display professional leadership; interact with guests in a humorous, engaging and friendly manner while providing an educational and exhilarating interpretive experience.
Ensure correct maintenance and regular checks of the Zipline when required.
Attend required training sessions when requested.
Follow all safety precautions at all time
Fitting the Harness and helmets correctly and supervise the use of all safety equipment
Conduct pre-tour safety orientation for each group
Assist in the lift evacuation if required and attend relevant lift evacuation training.
Know the equipment by name and their braking strains
Perform daily equipment checks prior to opening and during the fit out of guests before each use.
Perform rope pick offs when necessary (rope on rope rescue)
Enforce the under 13 helmet policy.
Ensure break timings are not exceeded.
Keep your workplace safe, clean and presentable at all times.
Ensure you remain presentable, shaved, well groomed and in full uniform at all times during working hours.
Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by your direct Manager / Duty Manager.
