Landscape Engineer - UAE National only

The job holder is responsible to provide suitable means and a methodical approach to maintain the present landscape under Emaar Properties PJSc developments which will uphold International Standards. The core functionality is to uphold the landscape in accordance to Emaar Properties PJSC standards set out by the Landscape Manager. Daily monitoring of Service Providers, in accordance with SLA. Ensure timely receipt of Activity Reports. Provide support and trouble shooting for Landscape/ Irrigation issues. The job holder is also responsible to maintain at all times the best possible maintenance to the landscape thus improving customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities: Operations Management:
Provides technical input to the ECM team.
Assisting the Landscape/ irrigation Manager in Tendering of Landscape & Irrigation Maintenance Packages.
Assist the Landscape/ Irrigation Manager in approval of Technical Submittals.
Attends meetings at all levels from ECM team, service providers through to site supervision staff of service providers.
Audit all ECM landscape & irrigation assets.
Technical Services Management:
Execution & Supervision Landscape & Irrigation Maintenance as well as Minor Projects.
Attending to Inspection Requests right from Site Clearance, Excavation & Disposal.
Irrigation Mains & Sub mains laying. Installation of Solenoid Valves & Controllers. Set out of Palms, Trees, Shrubs, Ground Covers, Seasonals & Lawns.
Evaluation, checking & approval of Inspection Requests.
Checking & approving Shop drawings.
Working on Handing Over by coordinating with service providers to resolve snags.
Working on Issuing of Taking over Certificates.
Assisting Consultant & Contractors to resolve their issues.
Inspection of Palm Trees before entering to Emaar Jurisdiction to prevent the infestation of Pests & Diseases.
Inspection of all Emaar Maintenance Packages by checking Monthly Activity Reports/PPM Schedules.
Assisting Landscape & irrigation Manager in executing Variation Works.
Attending Tenants (Villa Owners) complaints related to Landscape & Irrigation through ECM coordinators.
Proper execution of Landscape & Irrigation Works in Emaar Properties Model Villas.
Attending Coordination meetings with ECM team.
Closing the Service Requests before the Resolution Period.
Coordination between contractors.
Coordination between security.
Coordination with projects dept, consultant and contractor
Daily site visit for all issues related to the common area.
Preparing detailed snagging report for all the communities and to make action plan for rectification.
Coordination with all subcontractors for the delivery and completion of all the works.
Attending all meetings and discussions related to common area and infrastructure.
Daily coordination with ECM team for site issues. Regular joint inspections between ECM team & service providers.
Surprise/random inspections for PPM schedule.
Daily site visits/inspection. Reporting any site discrepancies.
Regular Site visit according to the schedule.
Follow up of landscaping schedules.
Coordination with Service provider for any lack of maintenance/ Schedule adjustments.
Follow up of PPM.
Follow up of Planned and Preventive Landscape Maintenance.
Verification of repairs and replacement request from SP
Tracking of taking over snags
Coordination:
Liaises with ECM team members, landscape & irrigation Managers.
Compiles asset registers, where appropriate and development information to predict future capital expenditure.

Qualification:
Graduation in Horticultural Science or equivalent
Experience:
Experience in landscaping and Irrigation Projects
Experience landscape maintenance
Skills:
MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Internet (research), AutoCad
Project Management
An interest in conservation and the environment
Organisational skills and a practical approach to work
Be physically fit for outdoor work
Have an understanding of environmental and countryside law
Be able to lead and manage others
Have good spoken and written communication skills
