The purpose of this role is to deliver best value procurement to the business under the direction of the senior procurement team. The role will be centered around the marketing team with responsibility to work as part of a small procurement team and deliver best value in the events and entertainment business sector. Main responsibilities for this role include: - Adhere to the standard contract tendering and contractual documentation; - Handle on going issue, change management and necessary modifications in the contract, ensuring both parties meet or exceed each other’s Expectations; - Maintain Contractual records & documentation and ensure Contract close out, extension or renewal; - Adhere to the procurement strategy document for key projects, report progress to ensure alignment to Expo 2020’s overall strategy and objectives; - Deliver the procurement process including procurement scheduling activities, scoping and tendering packages, evaluation, negotiation, finalisation and production of robust documentation in order to ensure compliance to set procurement policies and processes; - Maintain and regularly update qualified business suppliers’ database, in line with Expo 2020 business needs, to ensure data on suppliers is easily stored, accessed and retrieved; - Adhere to the procurement function policies, processes and procedures to ensure fulfilment of legislative / procedure requirements and alignment to operations; - Perform any other related duties or assignments as directed.
المهارات
1+ years of experience in a relevant field, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study;
- Industry qualified within procurement profession (MCIPS or equivalent) preferable;
- Analytical and critical thinking;
- Demonstration of good organisational, communication and IT skills;
- Knowledge of principles, methods and practices related to procurement;
- Technical knowledge of the range of procurement categories;
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems such as Oracle and SAP;
- Demonstrable experience of strategic procurement practices.
