Procurement Manager - Dubai

We are seeking a Head of Procurement to primarily look after the entire procurement process for one of our greatest assets, an exclusive Private School network based in Dubai. While there will also be exposure to other industry verticals within the group, Educational sector procurement experience would be highly valued at this stage.
The salary for this role ranges up to 15k AED per month, with Visa, Medical and flights.
Key Responsibilities;
Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
Manage an efficient flow of goods/services to ensure optimum organisational performance
Process purchase orders to acquire goods
Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company
Attend meetings with the legal team, internal staff members, vendors and suppliers
Qualifications for Procurement Manager
Extensive UAE experience working in the procurement department in (ideally) a related field
Master’s degree in purchasing management preferred, but not essential
Certification in Procurement
Working knowledge of the Education industry and market conditions
Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Able to travel to meet with suppliers and work overtime as require

Procurement Experience in UAE is absolutely essential. Please do not apply if you are not currently working as a Procurement Manager.
