Job Purpose: Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, the PMO Analyst will be responsible for supporting the PMO team to deliver the goals of successful programme assurance, governance and reporting. Key duties will include tracking the status of programme deliverables, supporting the adoption of the project lifecycle and deliverables, programme level risk and issue coordination, monitoring the status of projects transitioning into normal service, coordinating of programme reporting and programme governance. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mentality and be adept at reporting, planning, forecasting and overall programme performance. This role will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Key Accountabilities: Managing Program/Project Portfolio Progress
Lead project-initiation workflow and support induction of project teams on PMO systems and tools
Select and lead implementation of new project tools, standards and procedures
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with PMO procedures and standards
Facilitate program/project reviews of critical/key enterprise programs
Support project execution via the Agile Scrum or Agile Hybrid methodology
Drive engagement with project vendors (e.g. consultants, software suppliers, etc.) as needed
Understand the dynamics of change management including managing to outcomes, change behaviours and the triple constraints of time, cost and scope with strong planning and organizing skills and the ability to hold people accountable
Project Analysis of Programs and Projects
Analyse information on project status, risks, issues and dependencies
Assess quality of program/project report inputs and forecast likelihood of on-time, on-budget and in-scope delivery, sensitive to the compromises and changes in the overall portfolio
Assess Business Cases supporting data/information to advise/inform Executive Committee reviews
Identify and manage critical dependencies across Programs and projects
Identify key enablers to benefits realization
Support the definition and tracking of benefits together with Program & project managers
Monitor and assess earned value and burn rate for assigned projects
Implement verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost
Maintain the SharePoint site with regular updates on program delivery.
Identify and develop standardised reports collaborating with operations, finance, IT and management teams
Consolidate all Project Status Reports to be delivered to Program Managers and Senior management
Perform adhoc project portfolio reporting
Track & report PMO expenses against budget
Provide Data Driven Recommendations
Facilitate project team meetings confidently and effectively
Hold regular status meetings with project team and effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
Deliver engaging, informative, well-organised presentations
Resolve and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Report and monitor portfolio risks and issues
Analyse current risks and identify potential risks in the area of responsibility
Identify and escalate risks and instances of non-compliance
Report the risk tailored to the relevant audience
Build risk awareness amongst team by providing support and training
المهارات
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Project management, Business studies/Management, Finance or related discipline
Master’s degree (Advantageous)
Project certification required (e.g. Prince 2, CAPM, PMP)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders (internal and external)
Knowledge of Project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.)
Knowledge of Project Management tools/software (e.g. MS Projects)
Desirable
Experience working in the waste management industry
