Responsible for preparing the full estimates on large and complex projects as required by client’s and provide complete conceptual and total bid price. Manage sourcing of suppliers, goods and services and perform strategic procurement activities by searching for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Estimation: Understand and review the enquiries received from Sales Team. Gather and analyze data, budgets and prices. Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc. Prepare detailed cost estimate reports and present to the clients in the timely manner. Perform risk analysis Create and submit estimate quotation and the final contract to the client. Maintain thorough records of all project documentation including estimates, sales receipts, and project completion documentation Oversee the different stages of a company project to ensure that expenses follow the forecast plan. Present monthly report and presentation to the management on the works and KPI’s achieved by self and team 2. Procurement Management: Establish the SOP for Procurement Department. Maintain an in-depth knowledge and be aware of developments in supply markets. Develop strategies and implement purchasing action plans which ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain stock to achieve day to day operational task Implement and enforce compliance of all projectprocurementactivities with the approved business processes and procedures Take the lead in supplier negotiations. 3. Budget Administration: Ensure all materials and services are procured at competitive prices to budget, in accordance with the project programme and in compliance with the project specifications Manage, monitor and report on project costs v budgets situations and identification of trends Prepare forecast funds required for procuring material, equipment and payables to suppliers. LeadProcurementand Suppliers to maximize the savings on the budget and plan by negotiating with supplier prices, delivery terms, contracts and payment terms and conditions To Ensure savings of purchase over the budget. 4. Vendor Management: Select and appraise Suppliers. Create preferred vendor data base. Conduct meeting with major suppliers and evaluating their capabilities Monitor the supplier’s performance and evaluating them on yearly basis. Resolve disputes and claims with suppliers in coordination with the Accounts Manager.
