Resident Engineer

Our client are a leading multidisciplinary company who specialise in Architecture and Infrastructure and specialise in the delivery of world class projects. They are looking for a Resident Engineer to join their team in their Abu Dhabi office.You will be responsible for:
Delivery of client scope of services following best practice project management principles through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and close-out in full compliance with client policies and procedures
Managing, monitoring and reporting on the delivery of client scope of services under assigned projects
Review, monitor and notify with respect to HSE requirements against client and regulatory standards
Managing, monitoring and reporting on the financial management of assigned projects, ensuring timely invoicing, cash collections and delivery of GMR and NLM as per baseline Cost Plan
Team selection, recruitment and development
Responsibility to manage the review and approval Contractors Procurement Plan along with Project Planner
Responsibility to implement procedures to review Contractor QA submittals such as prequalification submittals, shop drawings, material approval requests etc
Projects monthly reviews and corrective actions not limited to client qualitative & financial performance, risk management and change management
Provide facility management for the project providing the working environment and pastoral care for all staff located on site interfacing with HR
Core Competencies
Robust FIDIC contract experience
Experience with mixed use developments from enabling works to completion
Key Requirements
Engineering Degree from a recognised university - preference for Civil/Structural/Architectural/Construction
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in similar projects
Miiddle East experience is essential - Abu Dhabi would be advantgeous
