Manager Ticket Sales for South Asia, Africa, GCC & ME

The main responsibilities for this role include: - Work with Expo 2020 Destination Marketing and external agencies such as tourism boards across the UAE to educate markets within the international area of assignment on epic, not to miss uniqueness and the commercial value of Expo 2020; - Represent Expo 2020’s interests with travel to International Tourism fairs and road shows to deliver destination based programs to stimulate ticket sales in core markets and achieve visitor targets; - Support the Sr. sales area manager to engage and close reseller agreements with local DMC`s Tour Operators and Tradeshow promoters world-wide who will bundle destination travel packages and value-added propositions, helping to drive a high level of international visitation for Expo2020; - Manage reseller accounts for B2B web-based portal activity, promotional kit use, adherence to policies and procedures, payment collection and reconciliation; - Executes sales strategies to develop and solicit specific accounts to achieve revenue goals monthly & quarterly across relevant source markets; - Build and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers; - Assist in site inspections, Sales Trips and Tradeshows.
المهارات
6+ years of experience working in a similar position preferably facilitating B2B promotional relationships for large scale or in Destination Sales/Marketing as well as;
- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;
- Proven track record in developing value-added reseller relationships within the travel trade industry;
- Excellent selling and upselling skills with knowledge of the sales processes;
- Strong customer development and relationship management skills;
- Able to represent Expo 2020 internationally in a very professional and diplomatic manner;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Detail oriented with high attention to quality.
