Junior Interior Designer work closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and builders, to determine how interior spaces will function, look, and be furnished. Junior Interior Designer must be fully aware of relevant authorities, malls, building codes and inspection regulations and at specialization level for Kiosk and Shops in Malls. Responsible to understand stakeholder’s requirements and translate the same into 2D/3D drawings and technical drawings, in order to support the successful completion of the Projects.  Functional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the senior designer to prepare the concept
Producing working drawings packages, mood board, sample boards, and 3D design.
Coordinate and prepare Design presentations
Prepare the technical drawings based on design requirements, prepare sketches, 2D & 3D drawings with a high-quality render and timely manner.
Modify and update designs based on review comments from management.
Collaborate with the draftsman to deliver correct production drawings with the correct quantities & finishes plus the cutting list.
Prepare Material Schedule to specify the materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
Update existing design techniques with respect to the latest design trends.
Ensure design projects and delivered based on the agreed timelines and within the budget allocation.
Provide drawing support to a senior interior designer & Projects team.
Coordinating and monitoring the work of both contractors and suppliers.
Regular review meeting with the stakeholders to stand on designs status, updates and understand their new requirements and to gather and collect design requirements for new constructions, alterations or repairs.
Maintain all the documentation related to architectural designs and fit out projects conditions.
Working closely with a team of other professionals such as Fit Out projects team, Malls & Building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists.
Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
Key Accountabilities:
Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
Traveling regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings and visit the site to obtain information for as-built drawings.
المهارات
Qualifications:
Have a B. Sc. Interior Design, or equivalent
Have 3-4 years’ experience, with strong background in Interior Design
Have strong experience in space planning, contract documents and administration, and FF&E;have an interest in the Creating and Persuading interest areas
Proficient computer skills, particularly in the latest design software, 3DMax, Sketch-up, AUTOCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft office etc… Revit & Rhino would be an advantage
Have strong experience in post-production editing and Photoshop effect
Have a good knowledge in Furniture design and technical drawings
Artistic ability. Interior designers use their sense of style, to develop designs that look great and are aesthetically pleasing.
Good communication skills
