Finance Manager, Middle East

As the Finance Manager, Middle East you will work closely with the senior leadership team and manage a team responsible for all accounting operations, including the; General Ledger, Billing, AP/AR, Cost and Inventory accounting and Revenue Recognition. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly financial statements and researching any technical accounting issues for compliance
Managing the regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings
Designing and implementing internal control processes for both finance and non-finance business processes and communicating areas of weakness, including SOX process documentation
Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting
Making key contributions to the optimization of business systems to help drive business performance

This is a great opportunity to join an established international Engineering services business in the Oil & Gas industry. As the ideal candidate, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience
Have strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidations
Have strong people management experience with excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
Be driven and prepared to be hands-on when required
