Based in Dubai, our client is a rapidly growing e-commerce meal kit company. They are looking to make people’s lives easier, healthier, and more memorable and to achieve that our client has invested in hiring the best people and creating the best systems. Currently, our client is looking for a procurement manager to lead their procurement efforts. The ideal candidate will have a large central kitchen, hotel or supermarket chain, or meal kit experience and have a strong background in procurement or supply chain management. The procurement manager will seek, suggest and lead improvement initiatives for all key procurement related processes (sourcing, purchasing, receiving of goods, quality checking, inventory management, replenishment needs, space optimisation, general flow of goods), in close collaboration with the recipe and operations teams as well as suppliers.  Mission The mission of the procurement manager is to secure pre-packaged ingredients for our top 25% most frequently used items by December 2020.  Accountabilities, Goals and Outcomes · Grow supplier monthly OTIFIQ (On Time, in Full and in Quality) performance to 100% by June 2020 · Improve monthly customer ingredient quality score by 5 percentage points by June 2020 · Decrease food and packaging cost by a total of 2 percentage points by June 2020 · Maintain inventory turnover to the agreed ranges

What You Will Need: · 3-4 years of strategic procurement and supply chain experience management experience, ideally from a large central kitchen, hotel or supermarket chain, or meal kit business · Excellent strategic skills o You are experienced at creating and executing strategic procurement plans o You have developed strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders o You have excellent written and verbal communication · Excellent negotiation skills o You are able to lead on, close, and manage complex contracts o You are able to identify and focus on win-win outcomes for all involved · Excellent commercial acumen o You are strong at controlling business expenditure through improving processes and tools o You are very comfortable with conducting advanced excel analysis to help with effective decision making o You are able to collect, analyse and act on ingredient feedback from customers and the kitchen team to make decisions · Strong people management skills o You are experienced in hiring and building great teams o You can coach and develop talent within each functional area (purchasing and inventory) Our Client Offers: · Flat hierarchies, constant learning, outstanding team atmosphere and international mix · You will create and execute the strategy from the ground up · A full-time position with a competitive salary that will grow as you do · The position will report to the CEO who owns and runs the company.
