The position of Assistant Manager Contracts - Tactical in the Contracts Department (Tactical) is responsible for providing support to the Managers in the execution of their departmental duties as listed below. Main responsiblities for this role include:  - Build strong working relationships with all internal departments and key consultants and contractors to ensure any on-going performance issues are resolved as quickly as possible; - Identify, analyse and respond to contractual and commercial risks; - Observe and follow the requisite processes as set forth in the department’s Governance Manual and feedback for its continuous improvement as required; - Management and operation of an Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) process, liaising with Expo end user departments, Expo Procurement/Finance and suppliers; - Management and operation of a Change Management Process to aid in the control of all departmental budgets including liaison with the PMC, Expo end user departments and Expo Procurement/Finance and suppliers; - Monitoring and reporting against departmental budgets (set by others) in conjunction with Expo Finance; - Work with suppliers and Expo end user departments to achieve commercial closure for all Tactical Projects; - Compilation of the Programme Cost Report; - Assist in the preparation of accurate forecasts of project cost to completion and final value; - Assist with the preparation of valuations and claims, ensuring that they are supported by relevant records; - Prepare cash flows for payments in and out.
المهارات
4+ years of relevant experience, including all aspects of pre and post contract duties as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field;
- Training for membership of RICS/Equivalent preferred.
