 Work and performed in accordance of specification and work instruction are followed.
 Reporting progress, maintain productions record and monitor material usage.
 Liaise with project manager and owner representative to ensure that other department are synchronized and met set target.
 Ensuring efficient and effective manpower loading on completion program.
 Identifying and act upon opportunities for improvement to work & safety related matters.
 Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and provide assistance in preparing reports.
 Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department / Section to ensure compliance with the established standard and procedures.
 Motivate, direct, align and guide the team for the best performance, monitor performance and provide continuous appraisal and feedback.
 Foreman-Sr. is expected to resolve all work related issues by finding the way to do the jobs as instructed.
 Exercise discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.
 Liaise with other discipline foremen / supervision to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.
 Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns.
 Provide feedback regarding performance appraisal of workers to the department manager via supervisor when required.
 Assist the senior foreman and supervisors in planning activities.
 Ensure that the workers are properly supplied with machineries, tools, equipment and materials and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.
 Perform inspections to ensure that the workers performance is up to the set standards.
 Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
 Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed
 Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head
المهارات
 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent / Graduate in technical School or Marine Background
 Experience in ship repairing / Offshore / Oil & Gas and NB yard.
 Sea going experience or technical school trained.
 Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas or ship building industry including at least 2 years in similar role.
 Knowing of paint specification and classification of paints
 Knowledge of blasting standards and abrasive classification
 Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
 Possess knowledge of MS office and Project Management skills.
 Ability to develop, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
