Civil Site Engineer

Checking technical design and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staffs especially quantity surveyors and the overall project managers
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Liaising with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements
• Resolving technical issues with employers representatives, suppliers, sub-contractors and statutory authorities
• Checking materials and work in progress of compliance with the specified requirements.
• To assist Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned project.
• Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed;.
• Attend to Meetings with Owners to solve technical issues and other related matters.
• Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
• Coordinate the handing over of completed works to client and completion of the necessary rectification works;
• Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective equipment is worn as and where required by the staff under their responsibility
• Attend coordination meetings organized by client and consultants etc
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors.
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paper works ,Job review of subordinate staffs etc
