Our client, a successful business conglomerate, involved in the business of Hospitality, QSRs, Fine Dining Restaurants, is seeking to recruit a senior Finance professional to take on the role of a CFO.
Responsibilities of the role are:
•Manage expectations of Owners, Joint Venture Partners and Key Stakeholders and periodic representations to Board and Investors
•Advise Executive Management on emerging business trends and operational issues and yield management strategies
•Negotiate and finalize contracts with various business partners
•Evaluate internal and group synergies to optimize business opportunities and to reduce cost
•Spear head business process reengineering to maintain relevance in changing business scenarios and economic conditions
•Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive business plan aligned with brand’s strategic direction
•Provide analytical support to department heads and COO on business performance against budgets and forecasts
•Optimize and manage internal control framework to address business risks
•Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operational efficiency and profitability
•Develop, review and report daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports to facilitate timely business interventions
•Periodic monitoring and management representation of project development.
•Drive timely business decisions through proactive forecasting and assertive communication
•Work with all functional heads to convert economic trends and external factors in to business opportunities
•Responsible for operations and administration in absence of COO
•Play strategic role in defining compensation plan and bonus for employees
•Develop, agree and review agreed KPIs so as to influence decision-makers to continually improve financial performance and productivity.
•Prepare and present investment proposals for senior management approvals and co-coordinating due diligence process with internal and external teams.
•Analyzing, Developing, implementing and reviewing financial strategies including Operating and Capital Budgets, forecasting, strategies matters regarding business development.
•Responsible for Product pricing analysis, Market trend analysis, Policy making and implementation, Supervise and maintain internal controls and systems,
•Liaison with Statutory and Internal auditors, Insurance agents for renewal and claims follow up, banks for fund management and working capital, government authorities for licenses and permits,
•Analysis of food and beverage costing and ensure remedial actions,
•Analyze funding needs for the proposals, including Capital Budgeting, Project financing and Working capital management
*Representative in the project meetings and review project work, equipment and materials Procurement for new guest rooms and restaurant,
•Manage investor relationships including joint venture partners
•Coordinate with corporate legal function and manage legal and secretarial affairs of the division
•Ensure compliance with local taxation requirements
•Liaison with the bankers and insurance companies
•Coordinate and facilitate Statutory and Internal Audits
•Manage statutory compliances, licenses and permits
