POSITION: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: DUBAI, UAE
SALARY: AED 12,000 TO AED 17,000 RESPONSIBILITIES:  • Handling various remittance and cross border transactions
• Control on A/R, Advances and Accounts payable
• Prepare Forecast Cash Flow, PL, BS on periodical basis while proposing analytical reports
• Co-ordinate with other departments to extend various support on monthly closing
• Prepare/update Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets Register
• Coordination with External Auditor, Internal Auditor
• Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles & IFRS
• Conduct month-end and year-end accounts closing
• Collect, analyze and summarize accounting information
• Compute VAT & submit VAT Returns on timely basis
• Keep information confidential and secure
• Keep up with financial policies, regulations and legislations
• Web based upload of Management Reports on to HQ’s portal
• Coordinate with HQ on various accounting and finance matters
• Monthly/Quarterly closing and year end closing / Finalizations / Audit, Annual Budgeting, Forecast & Actual reports
المهارات
REQUIREMENTS:  • Commerce Graduate specialized in Accountancy / Management Accounting. CA Inter will be given preference but with required work experience
• A minimum of 8 years’ hands on experience in accounting & reporting field with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Middle East(mandatory)
• Thorough work experience on ERP systems
• Knowledge of Import / Export and Letter of credits / Bank Guarantees etc.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong working proficiency with MS Office applications
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Excel (including linking files & formulas)
• Must be a quick learner with ability to manage multiple tasks, while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong understanding and command of English language including written and verbal communication skills. Arabic will be added advantage.  SKILLS:  • Forecast / Budgets Variance Analysis
