General Accountant

Our client, a well-known organization in Dubai, is looking for a
General
Accountant. This person will directly report to the Finance Manager.

Accountant Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary
Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action.
Accounts Payable function.Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations

Requirements
To be considered, the following criteria must be met:
Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, CA)
At least 3 years audit experience with Big 4 [KPMG, Ernst & Young, Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC)]
Must have worked as Audit Senior/Assistant Manager for at least 1 year
Excellent written and verbal skills
Notice period of 1 month or can join immediately
Candidate must be based in the UAE or on Visit Visa
Job stability - Minimum 2 years’ in each employment
