Investment Analyst

الوصف الوظيفي
· Performs in-depth industry, technology, investment and benchmarking examinations and produces written research/analysis and recommendations to supports and promote investment theses and strategy decisions.
· Conducts SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), and other tasks required to advance start-up projects, spin-outs and joint venture opportunities.
· Conducts valuation updates and monitoring performance across the existing portfolio.
· Builds financial and analytical models and conducts sensitivity analyses on prospect investments and portfolio companies.
· Analyze business challenges/problems requiring strategic planning effort.
· Track and manage pipeline of new potential investments.
· Focus on analytical assessments including pricing analysis, competitive positioning, ROI for new marketing or product development initiatives, COGS analysis and supply chain efficiency.
· Update fund model tracking capital deployed and reserves available for new and follow on investments.
· Supports deal underwriting efforts; reviews and analyzes business plans; performs business, market, product and team construction due diligence on transactions; researches industries and competitors; and documents findings.
· Supports day-to-day operations; assisting with reporting/analysis and on-going run requirements.
· Supports operational activities including internal business partner management, internal and external marketing efforts, and participates in conferences and other external events to promote the company in the entrepreneurial and venture capital industry.
· Supports portfolio management professionals by responding to requests for information and analysis on current fund investments.
· Interpret analyses and prepare written and visual presentation materials to effectively communicate to stakeholders.
