The position will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of the Retail strategy, including but not limited to appointing official retail partners to activate within and external to the Expo 2020 site; establish robust distribution networks nationally and internationally; activation of retail rights across a wide variety of different retail formats; work collaboratively with the Brand team on application of the Expo 2020 brand within the retail environments; in conjunction with the retail partners ensure that a wide range of licensed products are made available through the official retail network; market retail stores and through achieving sales targets deliver the forecast revenue to the Bureau. Main responsibilities for this role include: - Management of the appointed Retail Partner and/or Operator ensuring the direction and integrity of the Expo 2020 Dubai brand, monitor performance against sales targets, delivery of key milestones and delivery of KPIs outlined in agreements; - Work collaboratively with the On-site, Off-site and Online Retail Managers to ensure delivery of the overall seamless, multi-channel retail strategy across all channels; -Process approvals for the use of Expo 2020 IP – Store layout, user experience, fixtures and fittings, internal and external signage and/or Branding, marketing collateral or any other components required for the delivery of the retail operation; - Work collaboratively with Finance, Legal and Procurement team members on the management of the retailer agreements, contracts and sales forecasts that drive overall sale targets and revenue to the Bureau; - Works with cross-functional departments such as Real Estate, Technology and Operations to ensure On-site retail agreements are adhered to and that products and related platforms are approved, tested and launched effectively prior to the event.Where applicable, contribute to the compliance and operational implementation of the Expo 2020 Retail guidelines and integration of the Expo 2020 brand, themes and sub-themes into the approved product range and retail activations across the Expo 2020 site; - Provide regular budget analysis, monitor sales activity across the function, create continuity and effective reporting, track sales and reporting against revenue expectations; - Management of the partners and/or retail contractors ensuring contractual compliance and delivery of Expo 2020 obligations, while maximizing the commercial opportunities for the Expo 2020 IP through the design and development of retail operations, marketing and distribution of products; - Ensure transparency in management of Retail partners, adhering to Expo 2020 Policies and Procedures with regards to procurement and general business practices;
المهارات
- 3+ years experience in account management with specific Event retail experience;
- Bachelors Degree in relavent field;
- Strong planning and organizational skills;
- Strong written and oral communications skills;
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
- Fluent in English is a must and Arabic beneficial;
- Detail oriented with high attention to detail and quality.
