OFFSHORE ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

Job Description and Requirements
we are looking to recruit an Offshore Electrical Supervisor. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent you will be responsible for being the Offshore Responsible Electrical Person for the designated field, planning, supervising and participating in the installation, maintenance, repair, test and calibration of all electrical equipment, generation and distribution systems ( both MV and LV) platform, heating, ventilation and HVAC systems,.
The succcessful candidate must have the following

Completion of Secondary (10 years) education, followed by 3 years’ Diploma or apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (equivalent to UK City and Guilds/ NVQ/ HNC).
Experience
8-10 years’ varied electrical installation, maintenance and repair experience on similar power generation and distribution systems and equipment in the oil production industry. Experience should include some supervisory experience and the use of computerised and maintenance and materials systems.
Ability to develop/ authorise and review Medium & low Voltage Switching plans and work scopes.
Should be computer literate, having knowledge of MS application/ CMMS (preferably Oracle).
Familiar with Risk Assessment techniques JSA Task Risk Assessment/ Operation Risk Assessment.
Knowledgeable in applicable international hazardous area classification, explosion proof standards and electrical safety
