Primarily site-based role and will be responsible for delivery, ensuring the proper, timely coordination of all works in a given section / area with regards to information, program and materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Understanding & Compliance with Method Statements and risk assessments
• Understanding & compliance with general site safety standards and rules including communication to the team.
• Manage housekeeping and waste management for your area.
• Aware of the overall and immediate milestones associated with their works.
• Develop and maintain a monthly program that is updated on a weekly basis and in compliance with the overall Project Schedule
• Constantly challenge the program and introduce mitigation measures and improvements
• Clear understanding of the Matrix of Responsibilities and ensures that SC perform their own duties.
• Excellent Quality of all works and areas
• Complete all works ready for snagging and carry out any necessary de-snagging.
• Responsible for the coordination of all works in a given section of the project. The Engineer will be responsible for the delivery / completion of their area with regards to program, quality & safety and will deal with the senior supervisory team from the respective subcontractors in order to achieve this.
• Responsible to plan ahead and ensure all the required access & information is made available timeously to ensure the efficient execution of the works.
