Academic Background:

Bachelor’s degree - Mechanical

Overall Experience:

5-8 Yrs of experience in preferably in EPC company in the field of the seawater desalination plant or Power Plant.

International logistics experience preferred: transportation, customs, warehousing, supply chain principles, political nuances of economic/Free zones.

Nationality: Other than Indian

Gender: Female preferred

Description of Responsibility:

Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing.
Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure the best prices and contract terms.
Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
Follow up with Suppliers on purchase orders and communicate the status to the logistics service provider.
Accurately follow up with supplier on issuing shipping documentation such as certificates of origin, customs invoices, and packing lists.
Working with the responsible logistics unit within company (internal logistics service provider), to establish recommendations for delivery schedule, consolidations, and other methods of effective outbound transportation, including arranging pre-carriage stages (from the source location to the port of loading),then from the port of loading to final destination plant (main carriage and on-carriage stages).
