As the Programme gains rapid momentum and new projects begin their life cycle, the Management team are now seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager to work directly at project level to provide Project Directors with prime contract management and guidance on financial performance from initial pursuit to project closeout.
Some of the key areas of Commercial responsibility will be to:-
Monitor and report on project financial performance
Utilizes analytic and quantitative decision analysis tools and techniques
Review cost models and assumptions to ensure consistency with requirements
Structure, manage, review and negotiate viable business deals, change orders, and contract extensions
Reviews contract and amendments for accuracy and compliance with company contract, risk management and pricing policies
Provides contract guidance and negotiation skills with procurement and contract staff and delivery leadership
Engages with project controls to monitor schedule and liquidated damages for prime and subcontracts
As a suitable candidate you will be degree qualified and ideally come with experience in contract administration. You will have at least 8 years of experience, some of which must be working in a Consultative environment and working on major construction development projects
