Manager - Readiness

The purpose of the Manager – Readiness role is to manage development and delivery of activities to support readiness for the event. Responsibilities include the integration of test and exercise requirements within the organisation and with external stakeholders involved in the delivery of the event.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Lead on the integration of all Department or Functional Area readiness activity;
- Manage the project plans for activities as part of the readiness programme;
- Identify and source all exercise delivery requirements, to include locations, equipment, systems, roles and stakeholders;
- Understanding, development and continual improvement of organisational capabilities (e.g. policies, plans and procedures etc.);
- Develop scenario content and exercise reference materials;
- Deliver table-top exercises, venue walkthroughs, simulations, test events and rehearsals through the Expo readiness phase;
- Lead on exercise debriefing, ensuring lessons are captured and communicated;
- Produce post-exercise reports in conjunction with internal departments.
المهارات
6+ years’ experience of readiness design and delivery, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;
- A track record of successful project management and delivery of a wide range of complex projects;
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop solutions;
- Structured thinker, highly organized;
- Flexible, resilient and positive through organisational growth and change;
- Knowledge of operational planning and delivery of a major event/significant operational environment (e.g. airport, port, major attraction);
- Knowledge of operations, technology and security fields.
