Sr. Reservoir Engineer

Operational:
· Support in the subsurface data acquisition process and quality control programs in areas such as fluid sampling, pressure monitoring, PVT and special core analysis.
· Conduct preliminary assessments of acquired reservoir and production data.
· Support in technical collaboration with funding parties, and government authorities.
Technical:
· Work with asset-based teams to support the gathering of data and field evaluations.
· Review the information and data received from the technical teams to ensure completeness of information and alignment with the adopted model, and guidelines.
· Collaborate with Head Office (HO) and asset technical teams to provide reservoir technical analysis and support ongoing operations and projects.
· Support the Lead Reservoir Engineering in providing reviews and recommendations to asset and Head Office (HO) engineers and geoscientists in developing and optimizing Field Development Plans (FDP) and other subsurface studies supported by rigorous economic evaluation.
· Review and provide preliminary assessment of drilling/work over objectives/ requirements based on well and reservoir performance.
· Prepare reservoir and fluid systems characterization data set and provide preliminary analysis using state of the art methods.
· Update models with core analysis, PVT, well testing interpretations and production data.
· Support the Lead Reservoir Engineering in the assessment of Enhanced Oil Recovery pilots and projects to enhance reservoir performance.
· Provide preliminary engineering reviews to contractors’ technical teams on ongoing subsurface studies.
· Support in the engineering quality control and follow ups of study results and technical communication with subsurface contractors’ teams.
· Assist in the estimation of the recovery factors and reserves from simulations models and analytical methods and in hydrocarbon resource booking and reporting.
· Assist in surface facilities network simulation for network system optimization and surface production/injection facilities function and layout.
المهارات
Minimum Academic Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum/Chemical/Reservoir engineering. A Masters degree in reservoir engineering would be preferred
Minimum Work Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Reservoir Engineering.
