Job Description

Maintenance / repair activities of all installations which come under mechatronic category.

Maintenance and troubleshooting of various workshop equipment.



Recording of maintenance data, daily work activities, work report and man power control etc. in the absence of Foreman.



Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.



Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Skills

ITI electronics with minimum 3 years of experience in ship building/ heavy industries.



Good technical knowledge about: Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines; all kinds of DC Motor Drives and Controllers for various workshop machineries.



Technical skills on electronic and electrical fields.



Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.



Good in troubleshooting.



Preferable additional technical skills on Robot cutting machines, AC motor drives, inverters, PLC Transducers, communication systems etc.



Knowledge regarding Preventive Maintenance process (including Vibration analysis); M.S. Office.

Education
ITI Electronics or Equivalent Education
