Job Description and Requirements Perform drafting activities using AutoCAD,Cadmatic,ePlan or drafting tools based on inputs from Design Engineer/ Lead Engineers Handle drafting activities based on design inputs provided by Design Engineers. Prepare equipment Layouts, SLD drawings, production /construction drawings and MTOs. Prepare switchgear design and drawing Carryout site measurements for preparation of drawings and incorporating changes and comments. Liaise with other design/drafting personnel to identify/ incorporate interfaces. Follow DDWD and Project specific drawing and document control procedures. Ensure comments/ changes are properly tracked and incorporated. Store/ file drawings and documents in order as per procedure. Support procurement and fabrication/construction activities, keep track of redline mark-ups, as built documentation etc. Skills Bachelor’s degree in any Electrical & Instrumentation Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD,Cadmatic,PDMS,EPLAN and Drafting Tools, MS Office. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in drafting /modelling field and switchgear design. Knowledge in Drafting software’s mainly AutoCAD,CADMATIC,EPLAN Knowledge in MS Office such as Word and Excel Knowledge in ERP software preferred. Knowledge and experience in Ship repair / Offshore Project. Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation. Education |
