BID Manager

The BID Manager works independently in the business development team with key responsibility for bids and tendering for the practice.
The successful candidate will lead the bid process, co-ordinate with the senior team for budget and fee, benchmark against previous projects, analyse, compile and submit bids, as well as track their progress and success.
You will be responsible for managing an opportunity from pre-qualification through to contract award, including value proposition / strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Managing bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities.
• Manage virtual bid teams, subconsultants, and specialists required for each and every bid with the inputs from a variety of internal stakeholders.
• Identifying required scopes for each project, approaching relevant subconsultants to obtain their fees, manage the fees and calculations.
• Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
• Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
• Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation
• Help set and manage the bid budget.
• Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
• Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues.
• Arrange all post bid reviews with customers, post contract award.
• Ability to contact competition platforms for entry in competitions.
