Job Purpose:
The Corporate Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for delivering effective and commercial product presentation and visual merchandising standards across all categories for Bateel. The Visual Merchandising Manager has overall responsibility for ensuring the product is merchandised commercially, including shops layouts and window displays, to increase shop sales and business turnover. They will be responsible for a small team and will ensure that they achieve effective maximum output, exceed customer service expectations and create a performance focused working environment. The position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the brand and boutique’s image through effective resource management.
Key Accountabilities:
Scope of work
• Design visual display for retail boutiques, B2B, franchisees and Bateel café
• Merchandising of all retail stores and Bateel café retail spaces
• Merchandising support and training of the sales team and franchise partners
• Guarantee retail display and maintenance is in consistency with the company brand / image through regular showroom visits and follow up
• Communication of merchandising information, guidelines, etc. to the stores and partners
• Monitoring of the entire visual merchandise in the stores
• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Conduct research based on trends, regional attributes and lifestyle concepts
• Ensure proper communication to all required parties
• Demonstrate good product and inventory knowledge
Job Accountabilities
• Demonstrate profound market knowledge and trend awareness to guarantee up to date displays
• Developing merchandising plans for stores and franchisees according to the seasonality, their requirements an stock status
• Set up a model boutique as per the company’s latest display directives, photograph the windows, walls and displays in order to create a visual merchandising guideline to be send out to all stores and partners internationally
• Responsible for the communication of new merchandising initiatives and key information to all required parties
• Implement, install and dismantle displays as per requirements, using available space to the best advantage which may involve work such as lifting, carrying and climbing ladders
• Sourcing materials and display elements, such as lighting, props and required accessories
• Train the store team about design concepts, visual display standards, and the proper maintenance of the overall visual display, to help building an understand of aesthetics
• Proactive participation in inventory planning, to strategically display items to increase sales and reduce aging stocks of boxes and ribbons

Experience requirement:
• Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to build relationships with customers and peers
• Has good working knowledge of product strategy.
• Must be commercially aware and a proven ability in visual merchandising.
• Comprehensive experience of time management, working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads
• Minimum of 5 years retail experience
Qualification and Licenses requirement:
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Design preferred

Must come from cosmetic or perfume background. Presentable and fluent in English.
