Job Description and Requirements Job title: Operations Support Manager Group: ESG
Dept/Project/Service: MENAI Reports to: Regional Operations Manager - MENA Usual office base: Dubai Responsible for: Operations Coordinator Job purpose: To ensure the efficient operational delivery of contracts in the region in accordance with contractual requirements, targets, standards of good practice and within budget. Job objectives: Manage the delivery of a range of contracts to achieve targets. Oversee the efficient and effective use of the operational team, delegating tasks and accountabilities to ensure that all operational aspects can be delivered effectively. Plan, direct and coordinate all aspects of the operational support required for consultancy and operational projects, including consultant liaison, contracting, onboarding and logistics, report development, translation and publishing. Monitor the use of employee and consultant resources to ensure they are efficiently and cost-effectively deployed to meet project priorities and project requirements. Work closely with Technical Leads to manage the schedule of evaluations and consultant utilsation across multiple programmes. Manage the Quality Assurance (QA) process for programmes in coordination with each programme’s Technical Lead. Act as the first read for all English Reports before sending them to QA readers and act as a QA for all Arabic reports. Manage the translation process of all English reports into Arabic, recruiting and contracting translation companies as relevant. Liaise with clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality operational outcomes. Represent the organisation both internally and externally at appropriate meetings and events and ensure a smooth communication process is in place with schools, colleges, the ministries and other stakeholders. Establish and implement a streamlined operating procedure to ensure a smooth operations. Maintain a strategic overview of operations and regularly review, monitor and report on the progress in accordance with client and corporate management information requirements to ensure outputs are delivered to time, cost and quality specifications. Improve the operational systems, internal reporting processes and policies for the inspections and other programmes. Analyse and develop revised processes where relevant, providing recommendations for implementation to the Technical Lead and Regional Leadership Team. Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager to ensure each programme is delivered within budget. Assess financial performance against budget and operational goals using data to monitor and improve profitability.
