The Manager - Key Management will coordinate the overall management of physical key and lock systems across the entire site. They shall be responsible for the tracking and issuance of all key entry systems and ensuring the responsible service providers effectively control these systems.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Responsibility for providing input to the site wide Key Management Strategy and ensuring that the strategy is implemented;
- Formulate and produce robust Policies and Procedures for the management of key based access systems across the site and ensure they are adopted and followed for the duration of the event;
- Collaborate with other business departments, such as Real Estate and Delivery (RE&D;) and the Programme Management Consultant (PMC) to focus on an integrated planning approach for the handover of all keys and cylinders;
- Support EXPO 2020’s corporate Health and Safety Policy ensure that all aspects of SMA’s Health and Safety responsibilities are delivered by all SMA direct employees and contractor employees;
- Manage the overall Key Management System across the site;
- Ensure the system accounts for all instances of lost keys, assess security impact and manage process for cylinder replacement or new key production;
- Audit each Service Provider to ensure the Key Management Procedures are being adhered to and issue NCRs for any instances of non-compliance;
- Review the findings of all the inspections carried out by the team and propose remedial actions in order to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner and that action plans are followed up on;
- Preparation of reports for senior management attention outlining any issues across the site.
المهارات
6+ years of experience within a Facilities Management working environment, preferably with experience in managing a team and previous major event programme, with specific experience related to developing Site Management and transition management:
- Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field;
- Previous experience of managing specialised facilities / Events / 5* Hotels and/or resorts;
- Worked with multinational and diverse teams;
- Knowledge across key event operational functions, understanding the site management dependencies with the other operational functions and non-operational directorates;
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural organisation, GCC region desirable;
- Experience in working with senior level Government partners and multi-agency stakeholders;
- Coordination of and participation in a large departmental program a necessity;
- Team management skills, presentation skills, risk management skills, project management skills, high attention to detail, communication skills.
