Technician (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)

Job Description and Requirements
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Technician to join the Group Security - Catering Team.
The job holder will work along with the team in executing all activities (repairs, maintenance work) assigned by the Supervisor and assume responsibility for successful completion of all assigned jobs / routine maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to,

•Carrying out all scheduled / non- scheduled repairs, maintenance, construction work under the guidance of the concerned Supervisor in the most efficient manner.
•Inspecting and recording all necessary readings on a log sheet or checklist.
•Coordinate efforts across Junior Technicians to make sure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
•Keeping abreast on the installation procedures/documents of the new machines that are to be installed and prepare the necessary documentation.
•Reading and understanding basic drawings, operational and maintenance manuals.
•Coordinating with the Supervisor to purchase spare parts for the job that is not completed during the shift.
•Usage of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE’s) while executing the job, always apply the safety standard.
•Applying the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 International Standards and execute his/her responsibility according to the department work procedures reflecting EKFC Quality Policy

Skills
The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of the application of safety procedures & standards paired with the following,

•Excellent communication skills
•Technical/analytical skills

A Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Control/Industrial Engineering from a reputable institution, minimum of 3 years’ experience or hands-on work experience in a similar position in Hospitality/Catering/Facility Management/Project Management Industry.
