JOB SUMMARY

Supervises all maintenance staff in the hotel and ensure that individual workloads are properly administered and expedite. Ensure compliance with the hotel standards and maintenance specifications

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises all staff accomplishment regarding the related tasks in Engineering and Maintenance of the Hotel ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Department’s Operations Manuals and update accordingly
Ensures that staff productivity is monitored and address the pending issues with regard to maintenance of the hotel.
To prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with workload and priorities.
To monitor attendance at work, cleanliness of uniforms of all employees working in guest areas and job performance.
Brief staff on their daily duty and conduct daily inspections in the hotel. To perform, at least twice weekly, routine inspection of all engineering operational areas (plant-rooms) and report any equipment malfunction to the Chief engineer
Monitors the water reading, electricity, gas and utility consumption if within the standard.
To check wastage and ensure optimum usage of material in the operation.
To control and verify all Maintenance logbook entries.
To ensure all safety regulations are being strictly observed.
Follow up and support the guest request regarding maintenance issues
Follow up the pending task and ensure that it is properly undertaken
To report any abnormal conditions noticed at any time with life safety related equipment or installations.
Supervises all staff accomplishment regarding the related tasks in Engineering and Maintenance of the Hotel ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Department’s Operations Manuals.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior and the Department Head.
To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
To maintain good working relationships with your own colleges, and all other departments.
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
To attend all training sessions/programs that is requested by the Hotel’s management.
To be always ready to work to any of the Al Khoory property as per the management instruction as and when required.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Proper supervision of staff in Al Khoory Hotel and ensure that maintenance standards are met
Ensures that all maintenance related tasks and complaints are closed out and properly handled in accordance with the specified guidelines.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

All Maintenance reports and guest complaints are properly sorted out within the specified time frame
Proper supervision of staff and productivity are in line with the daily tasks and standard
