Job Description and Requirements · Implements the Safety & Quality Policy of the company · Communicates and enforces organizational policies and procedures · Plans, Organize, Prioritize and Balances jobs, as per demand & without notice · Professionally Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, and Subordinates · Monitor and analyses information/data to Implement Processes, · Assisting in the planning and evaluation of assignments · Co-ordinating Information from Systems & Departments. · LEAN Management approach to Improve workflow and productivity of the shop Job Description: * Maintains and takes preventative and corrective action to address potential safety hazards and prevent future injuries, resists temptation to cut corners where safety is concerned, follows all safety related company and location policies. Conducts tool box meetings *Clearly communicates messages through written, verbal and non-verbal methods that promote an understanding with the assembly team in a timely manner * Listens carefully and attentively to have transparency and exchange of idea for improvement in workplace * Completes the competencies required to Develop a deep understanding of the product line and technical specifications. * Manage assembly personnel, meeting schedule expectations, enhance workshop efficiency, maintain quality and 5s of the shop * Maintain all appropriate paperwork. Insuring complete documentation of standard work exists for all assembly processes * Collaborate with all departments of the business to share and implement best practices, improve quality and reliability of the service operations, having direct impact to productivity. · Accountable for the On Time, Complete and Correct readiness of the assemblies. · Accountable for data & system updates with accuracy and safe storage of jobs done · Provide problem solving and support to assembly operations. · Works with the Quality, Safety and Purchase personnel for related issues · Report on workloads, participating in project reviews and giving advice to project managers and team leaders · May have to travel for work assignments · Undertake Assembly jobs during busy period · Work additional hours occasionally · Performs other duties as assigned, not limited to above · General administration for personnel and record keeping Reports to : The Assembly Manager QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical Engineering diploma or Equivalent Awareness of a workshop environment EXPERIENCE: · Required 5 years oilfield equipment repair and maintenance shop experience Preferred: Certification of Operating Overhead cranes and Breakout Machines SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Time and Priority Management |
