الوصف الوظيفي Based in Dubai, the Finance (Financial Accounting) Manager will develop, implement and manage strong finance, accounting and reporting frameworks across Syrah’s UAE entities, and provide strategic information & advice to the Syrah Group’s respective management teams. Oversee the finance & management accounting function within Syrah’s UAE entities Ensure timely and accurate financial information is provided to department managers in order for them to make effective & informed decisions Continually improve and evolve reporting processes and implement effective cost control solutions / practices to optimise efficiencies Provide accountability for the timely and accurate administration of the budget and forecast planning cycle Oversight of month end close activities and the provision of accurate and timely financial submissions Preparation of monthly internal reporting, ensuring it is accurate and completed in a timely manner Regular contact with business units to ensure their full understanding of business performance and financial results Identify, implement and manage potential improvements in financial performance utilising data analysis and key value drivers Provide the business with relevant financial support to enable effective planning while applying budgeting and forecasting techniques Develop & maintain strong business relationships with external stakeholders including auditors and regulatory departments Manage the year-end audit process in conjunction with the appointed auditors Balance sheet management in conjunction with the group finance team Development and mentoring of a small team المهارات Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior financial role, preferably within a commodities marketing group or global logistics industries Finance and or Accounting tertiary qualifications, including a CA or CPA post-graduate qualification Prior experience in a “Big 4” firm environment preferred Well-developed knowledge of international financial, accounting and tax systems, including the ability to develop, implement and monitor internal controls Previous experience with Pronto ERP (highly regarded) and an expert Microsoft Excel user The ability to think strategically and a demonstrated ability to establish short/long term plans in line with business objectives Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Effective leadership skills and the ability to develop high-performing teams Thorough understanding of international accounting & finance practices in a global business context If you have the skills and experience outlined above and would like to be part of a growing company, please click Apply Now and attach your CV and Cover Letter. |
