Manager – International Engagement

Job Description and Requirements
Responsibilities

Serve as focal point for interactions between the Company and all international markets
Develops, manages, and promotes the Company related programs and initiatives internationally
Identify and execute partnership and collaborations globally to support the initiatives to attract foreign maritime companies to Dubai/ UAE
Develops, conceptualizes, and manages various promotional campaigns for the maritime sector including branding, advertising, social media, public relations, online marketing, commercial sponsorships, events, and exhibitions participation
Develops, manages, and promotes specific (government) support programs aimed at the attraction of ship owners and other key sector players to Dubai
Performs the role of the maritime sector and spokesperson and brand champion. The official voice of the maritime sector of Dubai
Provides support to maritime companies relocating to Dubai/ UAE
As a representative of the Company, provides advice on the development and co-ordination of policies and related matters of the Shipping and Shipping Services Sub Cluster so as to support the creation of a sustainable and competitive maritime sector for the Emirate.
Grow a global network of maritime related trade associations to promote activities in Dubai and the UAE.

Key Skills

Knowledge of the international maritime market
Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
Knowledge of relevant international and local laws, statutes and regulations
Understanding the role of various social media platforms and its impact on engagement
Knowledge of diverse cultures and customs
Computer Literacy
Fluency in written and verbal English
Proficient in grammar, spelling, and editing
Be persuasive, persistent, and patient.
Demonstrate gravitas
Demonstrate excellent public speaking and presentation skills

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Strategic Planning and, or any related academic preparation
At least 2 years experience
Must have working experience in Marine Authority, Maritime Information Providers or Industry Trade Associations in a Senior role/ Sea Traffic Management
Should have knowledge of the International Maritime Market
Open to male Emirati nationals in UAE now

Salary/Compensation

Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
Salary is between 21k – 30k AED per month base salary
Plus education allowance, medical and air ticket for self & family
