Work Closely with Supervisor & Assistant Managers in all activities related to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE). Supervise all areas related to (HSSE) including monitoring Mai Dubai Employees and contractor’s HSSE performance, conducting periodic audits/inspections and accordingly providing technical advice to promote a systematic and consistent approach to the management of HSE activities to ensure compliance with applicable HSSE local and international regulations.
Responsibility and Duties:
Ensure completeness and implementation of safety rules inside Mai Dubai Premises.
Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
Create, Maintain and continuously update Hazard Identifications And Risk Assessment Database [COSHH]
Assist in the development of methods for anticipating and predicting hazards, unsafe acts and root causes of safety incidents from experience, historical data, incident investigations and other information sources
Create and Implement Emergency Drills and evacuation processes.
Provide medical support in case of accidents (First Aid )
Culture the employee to establish safety sense among them.
Monitor and Report Safety Behaviors inside the factory, through conducting Safety Sampling and Audits
Lead the employees in conducting risk analyses, as required. In addition to the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) of existing task processes.
Create, Maintain and continuously update the MSDS database and continuously inform individuals concerning the introduction of new chemicals in the work areas, making sure MSDS is communicated.
Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Manager responsible for Health and Safety any relevant new legislation
Develop and Implement related environmental strategies and action plans that ensure Mai Dubai Environmental sustainable development.
Provide support to the department on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives e.g. ISO 14001 $ 45001, etc.
Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports related to HSSE system to be prepared and submitted to the HSSE manager.
Co-ordinate Permit to Work issuance and maintain register.
Supervises security and safety activities of Security staff to ensure efficient discharge of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with Mai Dubai standards, policies and procedures.
Ensures that CCTV and all log books are correct and properly filled in, for proper Loss and Theft Handling.
Keeps all security staff aware of threats and breaches of security functions and of their individual responsibilities to detect and threats and HSE related matters.
Provide required feedback and complaints about security staff to the HSSE manager.
Monitor or review procedures for attendance and timekeeping for the security personnel.
Patrolling and designing the frequency and routes of the security patrolling according to risk assessment.

Qualifications & Training:
Bachelor’s degree in any degree with Diploma or certification in an HSE related field (NEBOSH, OSHA BS ISO etc.)
Master degree in HSE related courses.
Lead auditor in ISO standards
Experience:
Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience
4 Years’ Experience Successful implementation of 45001 & 14001 standards.
Knowledge:
Has a good knowledge in
1. Local Regulations (DM, DCD, etc.)
2. UAE Fire and Life Safety COP.
3. NFPA Related standards.
4. OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.
5. ISO standards.
6. Microsoft Office.
1. Massive Knowledge of Local HSE regulations and NEBOSH practices and standards.

Skills:
Set policies and framework related to safety and occupational policies of factories.
Monitor, track and guide the implementation of the policies and framework across Mai Dubai

Build awareness related to HSE.
