Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Supply Chain Manager in daily/routine tasks relating to Logistcs & Supply Chain.
• Handle Order to Cash cycle for principalled orders and ensure that shipments/dispatches happen upto customer’s satisifaction level.
• Main proper records/files in line with Audit requirement / Internal Compliance.
• Review stock levels and suggest ordering cycle/pattern to Purchase.
• Follow-up with suppliers/fabricators for timely shipments / fix delivery schedule, arrange transportation (containers/trailers) with agreed Incoterms and ensure proper GRNs are recorded against supplier’s invoices.
• Liaise with Freight Forwarders for inbound cargo clearance and ensure that containers are cleared within free time granted by Port and/or Shipping Agents.
• Review LC/drafts and seek amendments(s) to ensure that LCs are workable.
• Make customs documentation and ensure that all rules & regulations are complied with.
• Post Sales/Tax Invoices in system and ensure the originals are dispatched to customers.
• Liaise with customers for counter-signature of LC documents and arrange collection. Thereafter, ensure that the documents are submitted in bank and accepted by customers on timely basis.
• Handle administrative jobs by visiting Chamber of Commerce, banks, JAFZA, Dubai Customs etc.

Required Qualification and Experience:
• A university degree holder equivalent to business administration, finance or economics and Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management.
• 3 years experience in the field of Logistics & Supply Chain Management with min 1 year experience with JAFZA based company.
• Hands on experience in handling local & export Letter of Credits (LC) and co-ordination with banks.
• Extensive knowledge of rules & regulations of GCC Customs.
• He/she should have strong interpersonal & communication skills and excellent cultural behaviour.
• He/she should be able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines by handling multi-task job.
• Computer literate and hands on experience with ERP
• Must have a valid UAE driving License
