Structures CADD Operator

Job Description and Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Supports the Engineering staff by providing quality drawings using the approved CAD/Digital Engineering software.
Supports the Construction Team in developing sketches, site layout plans and other documents as required.
Provides preliminary and concept drawings from sketches that may be used in the scoping document and tender packages for the acquisition of design, specialty and construction contractors.
Maintains drawing registries for all drawings by design consultants, contractors, Project Team and the Developers.
Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings, checks accuracy of layouts and adjusts as necessary in accordance with Parsons Quality Control procedures.
Continual improvement and development of internal standards, methods and procedures from a 2D and 3D perspective.
Using own initiative to capture innovation/ideas for CAD/Digital Engineering deliverables with effective team coordination.
Uses time and resources efficiently and effectively with ambition to grow in the position.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Worked in a collaborative Common Data Environment (CDE) such as ProjectWise or similar where multi-disciplinary integration occurs.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/Diploma in Engineering or CAD.
Minimum 7 years of experience working on infrastructure projects. Work experience in Dubai is preferred.
Expertise in Microstation and Civil 3D (2D and 3D drawings).
Fundamental knowledge of specialist 3d modelling software such as Revit and/or OpenBridge preferred
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Good communication and presentation skills.
