Address Sky Views is looking for Senior Tailor, Under the direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, the tailor or Senior Tailor is in charge of maintaining all uniforms in the hotel as well as manager’s suits. Also Executive Housekeeper gives clear directions in terms of projects in the hotel in rooms or public areas related to fabrics and maintaining established standards.

Planning
• Plan your daily routine before starting work. A well planned work schedule will require less effort to organize.
• Check the daily Room Occupancy Forecast, Room Report on room and guest occupancies.
• Know the number of rooms occupied so that you can plan your manpower for the day.
• Know the expected arrival times of guests so that you can plan and organize staffing in case they need laundry services upon check-in.
• Know the expected departure times of guests so that you can plan and organize the delivery of guest laundry and plan timings when a larger amount of soiled bed linen, towels & bathrobes will occur.
Organizing
• Ensure that you have enough manpower to complete the required tasks for the day.
• Ensure that you allocate sufficient work for all available staff for the day.
• Ensure that you have manpower on stand-by to cater for last minute operation requirement or special requests from guests.
Monitoring & Follow up
• Know where your subordinates are located so that you can contact them immediately if required.
• Be present physically to check on the work done by your associates.
• Be with your associates to assist them where and when necessary.
• Let others know where you are so that your associates can contact you easily.
• Execute a detail check to ensure that all are in order at the Dry Clean machine, Washer, Dryer, Flatwork Ironer, Steam Pressing areas.
• Should you be required to leave for another work station before completing your supervision work, remember to come back again to re-check these areas.
• Should you be required to leave the hotel premise for official reasons, ensure that your duties are being handed over to the Laundry Supervisor or the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• Always follow up any outstanding issue before leaving your duties, especially posting of guest laundry bills, available stock etc.
• If you are responsible to assist guest with any inquiry/request, remember to follow through right to the end, even if it means taking up extra time and effort.
