Our client is a large multinational technology and digital company with a large headcount in the region, they have created a Regional Legal Counsel position who, with the support of global Legal, will head up the legal function in the MENA region.

Description

This is a hands on role with the individual managing all aspects of legal and supporting corporate initiatives as necessary including:
Advising on Mergers & Acquisitions deals and managing the M&A;strategy from a legal perspectiveDrafting, negotiating and reviewing a number of media/digital contracts, IP, data privacy policies, commercial licenses, proposals, supplier and client agreementsCreating templates and standards and providing advice to the team, deliver training and risk management initiatives etcEnsure the cost-effective handling of litigation and disputes to protect the companies best interestsWorking closely with the Compliance Director to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Profile
5-7 years experience in a broad range of industries. Ability to work independently and head up a regional legal functionFully fluent in Arabic (ability to draft in Arabic)Law / LLB qualified
